All About Shadowlawn:
So, you're looking for a new church to call your home? Well, look no further! Here at Shadowlawn, we believe that God designed the church to be a family, not just an activity. From toddlers to senior citizens, we want there to be opportunities for everyone to serve and worship. We are a smaller church, but it is our size that allows us to have an intimate connection with one another, as God created us to have. This is not a blend-into-the-background kind of church. This is a church that loves together, prays together, worships together, and serves together all seven days of the week.
Our Mission
When creating the mission statement for Shadowlawn Church we had to ask ourselves, "What direction does God want our church to move in?". After deep prayer and consideration, we decided on this three-point mission statement:
Experiencing God's Presence
Equipping God's People
Extending God's Love and Grace
Whenever our church has a decision to make, there are three questions we ask ourselves.
- How does this help people experience God's presence?
- How does this equip God's people?
- How does this extend God's love and grace?
What To Expect
Here are a few helpful things for you to know when considering your first visit to Shadowlawn Church:
- The dress code is casual; come as you are.
- The entrance to our main parking lot is located behind the church on Mediterranean Avenue. There are a few spots in the front, along Norfolk Avenue, but we recommended you park in the back.
- Our multigenerational congregation is small, vibrant, and welcoming. We thrive on love and community.
- Participation is appreciated and we have plenty of volunteer opportunities.
